A GIS system can simply be defined as computer-based technology which allows the ability to collect, analyse, manage, manipulate, model and present geographically-referenced data for any number of applications. Geomeasure Group has a knowledgeable in-house GIS department, which utilises ArcGIS. Furthermore, data from the provincial KZN Groundwater Resources Information Project (GRIP), of which Geomeasure Group are the project coordinators, are typically incorporated into the various GIS tasks undertaken by our competent staff.
